Flash Point (2007)
This is another movie starring Donnie Yen in collaboration with Wilson Yip, in addition their movies has been really good. In this movie Donnie uses an implementation of mma moves in the choreography. Cast: Donnie Yen, Louis Koo, and Collin Chow. This movie has Colling Chow in a final fight in the movie which is really impressive. The great part of the film are the fight scenes, the stars in the film are very skilled martial artist, I'm talking about Donnie Yen, Collin Chow and Xing Yu, who had played "Coolie" earlier in Kung Fu Hustle. On the down part the fight sequence with Yen and Xing Yu did not let the actor display more of his potential perhaps due to time left to film, but it certainly displayed some of the fiercest fight sequences for Yen. Also, the end is loaded with great gun fight scenes, the match with Collin Chow in which the audience will be pleased, this action sequence is great, the moves are brutal and devastating. Donnie's character overtakes the rest in the film, now in terms directing, the scenes are great, considering how simple some of the shots are, the style of film making really makes the movie more interesting visually. I Especially love the shots in the club at the beginning of the movie. The only special effect was used in the explosion of Louis Koo's apartment, but nonetheless it's was well used and looks good and not overused, a plus of the film is the shots at the end of the credits which shows the actors practicing mixed martial art techniques which Donnie has really into into. Yet this is another great film by Donnie Yen and Wilson Yip.
An Empress and the Warriors (2008)

Hero (2002)
The reason I love this film, outside of the great cinematography, style of filming. It is this Jet and Donnie Yen fight at the beginning of the movie, reason enough for me to watch the film, enough said. It is a very artistic film from the characters, to the sets, the music, the costumes, the colors, the lighting, this is a great quality of film, a must see. Cast: Jet Li, Tony Leung, Maggie Cheun, Ziyi Zhang, and Donnie Yen.

Forbidden Kingdom (2008)
At last a movie starring the biggest martial art stars in 2008, Jackie Chan and Jet Li, and along Michael Angarano. This will be a great film for new generations to come. Both stars are known for their great martial art skill, and finally they shall clash in one epic film, that shall generate new fan to the genre. After seeing this film I will tell you, the cinematic is beautiful, the colors are very bright and vivid, I especially liked the shots in the woods with the trees. The special effects were great and did not take away from the experience of the martial arts choreography . the fight scene between Jackie and Jet is great and it showed them of as the roles that they're most famous for which is really cool to see as a fan. Both of the actors are basically Gods, Jackie is a drunken God and Jet is more of a shaolin monk and also the Monkey King, and together train their foreign pupil played by Michael Angarano who is definitely not having an easy time with his two new masters. This is a great family movie. Now in terms of the martial arts, Jet is as powerful as before and Jackie's still kicking although he does show a bit of a slow down, but he's still amazing audiences. About the story, the most interesting part or concept within the film that should have been explored was the story of the Monkey King which was the best part of the movie.
